ETP and PNR are not listed in the Manual of Standards under CNAV. Most people do not get ETP or PNR calculations in CNAV.  However the syllabus does include a section that says:

2.4 Computations
2.4.1 Review computations and conversions and:

(a) solve GS, distance, fuel used, fuel required, fuel remaining and fuel consumption problems, given appropriate combinations of these factors; and
(b) solve CAS/TAS problems given air temperature and pressure height; and
(c) determine HDG, GS and drift given TAS, W/V, TR; and
(d) determine TR given HDG, TAS, W/V; and
(e) solve problems relating to rates/gradients of climb and descent; and
(f) determine TOPC and TOPD position using average airspeed, W/V, and rates of climb/descent.

Some people occasionally say they got basic ETP and basic PNR "type questions" in CNAV. I suspect they fall under the attached computations above, particularly point (a),(b),(c). You certainly shouldn’t  or won’t get hard PNR questions like in CFPA. It should NOT be a focus area for your study, but you would be wise to know the basics in case and given you need to dominate them for CFPA and real life scenarios.

Our suggestion is know the basics of easy ETP's and PNR's only as you either know them from CFPA or you need to know them for CFPA, so learn some very easy questions now.
