Pilot Operating Handbook (POH)

The POH is published by the manufacturer, is extremely important and needs to be kept in the aircraft at all times.

The POH should contain:

  • All airspeed information such as stall speed, landing approach speed, best glide speed etc
  • Weight and balance information
  • Information of fuel, oil and coolant types
  • Tyre pressures
  • TODR and LDR information
  • Takeoff and landing configurations
  • Information on how to work systems and components
  • Ground handling techniques

You should continually refer to the POH when wanting to check anything about your aircraft operations.
