These will be examined
*A white cross on a runway indicates that area is “unserviceable” and not for use. Large areas may have multiple white crosses.
*White cones with red bands indicate the boundary of an unserviceable area
*White triangular prisms , known as gables, in rows or lines separated by large gaps indicate the edge of the flight strip. Often used to indicate limits of the the graded part of the ground.
